The older you get, the more immune issues become a problem which is why 80 percent of COVID deaths are people 65 or older.
Now to the vaccines. They are about 50 to 60 percent effective, and the effectiveness stops as the immune system gets worse. This means for the elderly, the effectiveness is less than 50 to 60 percent.
Studies show that supplementing vitamin D levels to 50 ng will prevent over 50 percent of COVID deaths for those older than 50. Lots of 50's there.
