    Why the choice of headline?

Its a good headline in that many folks probably don't know about the survivors not getting compensated because of lack of documentation.

Israel wants more people to support it and is using what Al Franken calls the "Jew" York Times to do so.

At the very least clarify which holocaust it is instead of assuming only Jews have been holocausted. Lots of groups have equivalent tragic events in their history that are called holocausts.

Have they stopped coming out with anthropological studies and evidence relating to the Biblical events?

Holocaust with a capital H refers to this one.

Where did that stupid rule come from? Very disrespectful to Armenians, Afro-Americans and Koreans. It implies Jews matter more than they do. But anyway holocaust is always capitalized in an article title just like Shocking is.

    Indeed it does.

I'm still digesting the contents of that article. How does it strike you?

Well... I hate to nit pick here, but the holocaust was not a Biblican event. Nevertheless, there are some folks who are hellbent on keeping that tragedy alive, and that's fine by me, whatever floats your boat! I'd prefer to dwell on something a bit more positive. Maybe we need to start a seperate section on RHP called Holocaust 101.

The holocaust was Biblical. It's the ceremony where Jews (among others, the word comes from Greek polytheism) sacrifice animals to the gods.

In Berlin alone, researchers have documented some 3,000 camps and so-called Jew houses, while Hamburg held 1,300 sites.

Dr. Dean, a co-researcher, said the findings left no doubt in his mind that many German citizens, despite the frequent claims of ignorance after the war, must have known about the widespread existence of the Nazi camps at the time.

“You literally could not go anywhere in Germany without running into forced labor camps, P.O.W. camps, concentration camps,” he said. “They were everywhere.”

I think there is new stuff to justify this article and its title. Certainly this is territory in which attempts at humour or point scoring must just drain away.

I'm curious why Bosse thinks the title is worthy of Debate.

African Famine update: Starvin' Marvin is still starvin'.

    http://m.cbsnews.com/storysynopsis.rbml?pageType=world&url=http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-20093423/africa-famine-spreads-ethiopia-at-risk/&catid=20093423

Why the choice of title? Is it because The Famine was the Irish one so they had to be specific?
