"Let's drop the euphemisms: Donald Trump is a racist president."
    --Richard Wolfe

"There was a time when politicians like you [Donald Trump] preferred to
use a dog whistle, but those days seem quaint now. There’s something
to be said for using a foghorn to blast your racism across the continents.
At least we all know what kind of politics you represent."

"So in the Trump spirit of saying it loud, it’s time to drop the euphemisms:
Trump is today’s first major government to be led by the racist far right.
It’s not some kind of new populist politics; it’s the old National Front.

It’s more than “not normal” – the media’s favorite phrase for expressing
disapproval with the way Trump is blowing up the old norms.
Trump personifies the kind of extremist policies that were the wet
dreams of the John Birch Society and George Wallace."

"The grandson of a German immigrant, Trump has married not one but two immigrants.
He knows full well how hard it is to be an immigrant: his family was so
ashamed of its German roots through two world wars that Trump continued
to pretend he had Swedish roots at the time he put his name to The Art of the Deal."

Then also stop pretending that most of Donald Trump's zealous supporters are not racist.

Yep, Trump is a terrible racist.

Too bad he is not as Presidential as FDR who locked up innocent Japanese Americans cuz they had squinty eyes.

Who were the greatest presidents in US history? Just Google that and FDR's name will appear every time, yet interestingly Trump has never approached this sort of racist oppression and never will. Yep, academia just looooooooves FDR.

Additionally, Trump was not known as a racist before running for President, so most people simply don't buy into it. Most understand that Trump is a vacuous narcissistic woman whore, and that is about it. Unfortunately though, these kinds of people are common place in the Oval Office.

    Nice try though.

FALSE. Donald Trump had long been accused of racism in his business practices.

Those under him have been accused of that, but nothing directly has been proven.

I could see Trump possibly allowing racist practices to occur in the name of making money, but that is about it. If it did occur, that is probably what happened. I don't see him allowing such things to do on without making money, or worse, losing money.

I can never picture him locking up innocent Americans though with no money to be made. That is just blind evil racism.

The other issue you ignore though is, racism has been used so regularly now by the left, that virtually everyone on the face of the planet has been accused of it at some point.......that is, unless you are a Dim like Joe Biden or Harry Reid or Hillary Clinton who have made racist statements The press just ignores them. In fact, they also ignore FDR's blatant racism against Asian Americans. You then scratch your head and wonder why Progs continue to ignore racism against Asian Americans. It's because people like you don't call this crap out like you should.

Having said that, when people thought of Trump before the election, racist was not one of those words defining him.

You talk about these “euphemisms”, but you fail to provide a single one. You folks really are slipping. Reminds me of a Margaret Thatcger quote: “When they start attacking you personally, it means they’re completely out of political arguments.” Well, you lot have been doing nothing but attacking President Trump and his supporters for the better part of two years now, and you’ve not put a single, workable idea forward.

So, why is Pres. Trump racist?

Because he does not specifically endorse this extremely broad concept of racism, and does not cater to politically correct sensibilities about race..?

Just because he is not part of the Neo-Marxist thought that you have, basically, and isn't entirely cucked into a position fo perpetual apologies, he qualifies as a racist by the measure of many.

A tiresome lie as usual from whodey, who already knows from the last time this topic was discussed that Trump is a racist and has been for a very long time. You know the usual list: getting sued for racist business practices, the Central Park Five, calling Mexicans rapists, etc. etc. In addition to that, Trump described himself as racist in a 1997 interview for Playboy.

He called a 2 year old baby a rapist? Do you have something to back that?

He called a 65 year old lady a rapist? Do you have something to back that?

Is someone saying "laziness is a trait in blacks" (something Trump claimed to have said in the aforementioned 1997 interview) saying that "a 2 year old baby" is lazy?

I understand that your autism leaves you struggling with language at times. My recommendation to you would be to avoid situations where this might lead to confusion for you.

First thing to make very clear, and you need to aknowledge this, Trump did not say "Mexicans are rapists".

We both know very well what Trump said. I have no interest in teaching you oral comprehension especially considering you are not a particularly gifted or motivated student.

Ok let's take them one by one

He began his 2016 presidential campaign with a speech disparaging Mexican immigrants as criminals and “rapists.”
Not all immigrants. This claim is false.

He uses the gang MS-13 to disparage all immigrants. Among many other statements, he has suggested that Obama’s protection of the Dreamers — otherwise law-abiding immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children — contributed to the spread of MS-13.
Nope, didn't disparage all immigrants. The rest of the claim does not exemplify racism.

In December 2015, Trump called for a “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” including refusing to readmit Muslim-American citizens who were outside of the country at the time.
Per an alleged email from someone else to a media outlet. Even at face value, this is a reaction to a dangerous ideology and a broken vetting process, not racism.

Trump said a federal judge hearing a case about Trump University was biased because of the judge’s Mexican heritage.
Perhaps the statement was true. Not racism.

In June 2017, Trump said 15,000 recent immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS” and that 40,000 Nigerians, once seeing the United States, would never “go back to their huts” in Africa.
Says the NY Times--a known severely biased, anti-Trump media outlet, with no corroborating links to be found in the opinion piece.

At the White House on Jan. 11, Trump vulgarly called for less immigration from Haiti and Africa and more from Norway.
He desires that more people immigrate to the US that have education and skills so that they help our country rather than go on the government dole. While some may disagree with his opinion, it is shared by many and it is not racist.

The issue of racism is only one of his great failures.

Finally!!! Someone brave enough to call Trump a racists.

Leftists have had to use such self restraint for the last 2 years to avoid the incivility of accusing anyone of racism in plain language.
