Up until now Donald Trump has been able to get away with taking verbal jabs at Hillary Clinton while (in typical republican tradition) cloaking himself in a veil of Christian purity. Now that he is the presumptive GOP nominee, the veil is beginning to wear thin, and what's behind it is not very pure...and not very Christian. "The Donald" is now talking out of both sides of his mouth about the ban on Muslims, calling it "just a suggestion" this has left even hard core Trump supporters wondering if he means anything he says. Now we find out that Trump's much ballyhooed release of his income tax returns has Trump telling us at least 3 versions of this story. 1. He'll release his tax returns after the election. 2. He won't release his returns, it's none of your business! 3. He can't release his returns because he's being audited. #3 is the biggest whopper, several IRS officials and prominent tax attorneys have made it clear Trump can release his returns anytime he wants.
"The Donald" is going to learn a painful lesson in the next 6 months. Running for President is not applying for a job as CEO of a Fortune 500 company. American voters want accountability, and they distrust candidates that are clearly hiding things. Despite the expected GOP hand wringing about Liberal bias in the media, The Donald is going to find out that if the GOP can go after Hillary like a pack of jackals over her emails and Benghazi, the Democrats can do the same to the GOP's golden boy over his tax returns, business practices, multiple wives, foul language, and flip flopping over his Muslim Ban story(s). Better get out your sewing machines republicans...that cloak of Christian purity around your golden boy is beginning to fray.
Oh...by the way, the bottom link is an article in Forbes magazine about "The Donald's" luxury shopping habits, as well as his tax returns. Read it, and ask yourself is you really want this man to be the leader of the free world.
