In Australia the term to give a dog a bone has several idiomatic meanings. One meaning is to give some one a break, a second chance. In this instance someone might say, “Come on, give the dog a bone!” ( As in, let them have another go or have pity on them)

Another meaning: When you throw a dog a bone, it makes that dog very happy. ... If you hadn't given the bone to the dog, you probably would've just thrown it in the trash. Similarly, the expression give someone a bone means do someone a small favor or give him or her a little reward.

As a rule they don't put up with that kind of talk on here because 13 year old are allowed on here, but as we know 13 year olds have probably heard way worst out in the real world, maybe even at home.

Go to your local butcher and say, "Hey Art, you got any bones I can have for Spot?" If he answers in the affirmative, thank him and take it/them home and give it/them to Spot. Pretty damn simple, I'd say. Did you finish or even go to school?
