Why do so many of us seek distraction from our work, even if it's just to check emails, tune into social media, or other (less than) productive activities? I'm doing it right now.

Mondays' child is full of woe (makes sense)
Tuesdays' child has far to go
Wednesdays' child is loving and giving
Thursdays' child works hard for a living
Fridays' child is something I can't remember
Saturdays' child is full of grace
But the child who is born on the SABBATH day, is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

You mean to tell me that this, which I've believed all my life, is wrong??

Okay okay, the Christian Sabbath does fall on Sunday (although I think a couple of denominations follow the Jewish schedule).

As for the poem, it's Wednesday's child who is full of woe (otherwise Wednesday Addams would be named Monday Addams).

But maybe this has varied among versions over the years:

It's usually a day earlier than I think it is, but luckily I'm sitting right next to an automatic calendar that says it is Sunday here, so early Monday in Indonesia.
