3 day timeout tournaments

I have been trying for ages to get into a tourne with a 3 day timeout. Problem is they are always full as soon as I become aware of them. No doubt an idication of their popularity. How about creating a tournament with a 3 day timeout that includes more than 32 to 48 players. I must be in the wrong timezone or something as I always get beaten to those positions
