Maybe it is his computer because dscp just did an illegal move in my game. On the screen his rook just disappeared, but in the history it was Re4 to d8 ?!?!?!?

    Wow

This appears to be a second such anomaly in such a short time - clearly there's a bug in there somewhere. That it happened to the same player twise, might just mean that there's something dscp does without realizing it that makes this bug surface...

Since the bug hasn't surfaced before in the history of RHP, I'd have to suspect that it has something to do with very recent changes... perhaps the changes around the "go to next game" feature. The site has been out intermittently for a while now, so perhaps Russ is busy in the bughunt already....

Hmmm, this is the second time this happened to me. (Both times to my detriment, BTW, before anyone starts wondering about my motives).

Not sure what it could be. I'll have to look at my browser, etc.

dscp is most definitely not at fault here.

But it is an amazing coincidence - which makes me wonder if your browser might be doing something we haven’t prepared for.

Which browser/OS combination do you use dscp?

    Thanks in advance.

    Could be a proxy issue.
