Beta Midi - Problem with notification??

I am confused. My second round opponent made his first move in one of our games on 3/26 at 17:40. Why did I forfeit on 3/27 at 9:09 (or before)? I just don't understand what happened. How could I forfeit before 3/27 at 17:40? In addition, I received no email notification regarding the start of our games and I do have email notification checked. Can you help? I'm new here. Thanks!

I started a thread along the same lines in the tournament forum. When your opponent times you out, it updates the last move time. So your opponent didn't move at that time, rather you were timed you out at that point and he/she presumably moved >24 hours earlier.
