I am a subscriber and long time user on the site, and haven't hit this issue before.
Those seeking to invite me to a game are getting the message:
"Not accepting new invites to daily games at this time."
This message was not initiated by me. Is this a software glitch?
Any advice is appreciated.

Check your settings, it sounds like you have stipulation on how many games you want to play or certain rating limit.

Your max active games is set to 15. If you had 15 or more games in progress, then any challenge is rejected.
Currently you have 16, so challenges will fail again.
Update your challenge settings from site settings menu.
