clan points????

Does anyone know exactly how clan points work?

My clan beat a team 3 - 1 and we get awarded 4 points
We beat another team 4 - 0 and get awarded 4 points.

If this is the case where is the benefit of beating a clan by 4-0 rather than 3-1

Hey Robbo, the winning team will take all of the points available in a challenge, regardless of how close the score was.

for example.

Midlands CC vs Maiden the UK
opponent1 DRAW opponent1
opponent1 1-0 opponent1
opponent2 1-0 opponent2
opponent2 0-1 opponent2
opponent3 DRAW opponent3
opponent3 DRAW opponent3

The Score would be Midlands CC 3½ - 2½ Maiden the UK, but Midlands CC would be awarded 6 points. Unfortunately, there is no extra benefit for thrashing a clan 6-0
