Is it possible to record a conditional en passant move? Whenever I try I get the response "Invalid Move".

dont know, but recent announcement said the pawn promotion is fixed for conditional moves Thread 109235.
I think pawn promotion is more common then en passant, so i guess they are still working on it...or not🙂

speaking of promoting a pawn, tried to promote one in a game 2 wks ago. wouldn't promote. game stayed dormant. looked at it recently and i had won. thought i'd lose on time. game #6054144 against german c m. and my avatar is apparently saying 'player banned game resigned'. what gives? some glitch? also, over at gameknot had several games going and suddenly couldn't see the boards on any of them. ideas or suggestions? i'm on a fairly old imac, and fairly old myself. lhooq

    Game 6054144

Your opponent resigned, your pawn was promoted (45W a8=Q), and neither of you have been banned.

However, there is some problem with that game:

    "Game history problem
This game has an incomplete game history and may not be reported correctly."

It's probably best to send feedback about it (link at the bottom of the page).

While RHP might not work properly on very old computers, it even requires that the human hardware is at least 13 years old, and there's no upper limit. 🙂

No, the software needs to be updated from time to time. 😉
