How do you delete a game because you don't want to play?

Go to the 'my games' page and if you can see 'delete' on the right of the game in question then you can delete it; if more than a few moves (4 I think) have been made then you cannot delete it.

Otherwise, you can try offering a draw, resign or let your opponent time you out.
