different stars

What causes people to have different stars next to their name for their pawnstar membership? Some with wings, some that are darker than others, etc. Is it a function of rating? or length of membership? Just curious.

The more moves you make the more your star changes from yellow to red (at 50,000 moves). The wings denote a subscriber - the stars without wings are 'original' pawn stars... however there are many 'original' pawnstars like myself who, although we don't have to, subsrcribe as well to support this excellent site 🙂
