i'm in what i thought was a perfect opportunity to use the en passant rule but the program is giving me the pink color stating it is not allowable. can anyone assist? i've checked the faq re: this but it seems that i'm right in this.
it's very possible i'm missing some aspect of the rule here. my name is willray and i'm playing pawncouncil. thanks.

Your pawn needed to be on f5 for the en passant capture to be legal.
