ENTER Key Quit Working

Hello, The Enter Key quit working on this laptop. I hope that I don't have to take it in for repair. Is there anyway to reset the ENTER KEY effect after it is normally pressed so that I can get the same effect with using some User Defined Key Press Sequence for example such as pressing the ALT Key + CTRL Key + E? Help Please

One solution I Googled, as a short term fix, on Windows, you can use the on screen keyboard?

Start button > Run > Type: osk > click osk.exe
