When I do searches for finding players in certain ranges the top active 30 come up, but is there any way to go deeper than the top 30 search results?

Have you tried the Player Tables button? The first page it takes you to has the top ranked active players as well as yourself. If you click on your own link it takes you to the active players near your own rating. By paging forward or backward you can see many more than fit on one page.
