Hello,

I'm having difficulties with the Chat feature. My opponent does not see my chat messages and I don't see his. When I look in the chat log, all I see is my messages.
Am I missing something? Is this a function for paid subscriptions only?

It is available to all, so it is not a subscriber only feature.

A message must be sent along with a move, so if you fail to make the move, the message is discarded.

Do you know if your opponent is using the web site or an app?

@Russ Hi Russ. Both of us are playing on Windows PC's through a web browser. Yes, messages are being sent with moves.

I click on the chat button, put in my message and click okay. The message I'm sending appears above my board. I make my move and click submit. My opponent does not see the message I just sent. If I look in the chat log, I see the messages I sent, but nothing from him.

It seems like a simple process, but maybe I'm missing something.

It is, and there is nothing further to do other that that which you described.

So, I suspect your opponent is doing something differently, as their messages are not logged.
