Click "New Game" at the top of the page.
Under the text window asking for a name, you will see the following:
"Enter a player's name to make a challenge, an email address to play a non-member friend, or leave blank to create an open invite game."

Enter their email address in that text window.

I suspect they will be sent an email that includes a link to RHP, and will need to create an account in order to play against you, but that's just a guess as I have never used that feature.

As GBS stated, just have them open an account, then when they have done that send them a challenge.
