I tried to enter a tournament ( I received what looked like 8 email invites) but was rejected by an auto=message saying my rating (eg) had to be between 1015 and 1350.
My rating in my RedHotPawn home profile states I am at 1299; my profile in this club sez I am p1200
I am confused, leokins

Your tournament rating number is currently 1363. It appears on your profile page below all the move counts, and its calculation method is also shown there. Tournament rating bands don't use your everyday up-and-down rating, they need to be based on something more stable.

All that applies to public site ratings. Club ratings are a summary of your games within the club itself, and can be wildly different to any other rating. In different clubs I have completely different ratings, according to the ratings of my opponents in club games.

This is because your highest rating is 1428. So (1299+1428)/2 = 1363.5, which is just slightly above the 1350 threshold unfortunately.
