It is not an email account it is a messaging service (internal to the site).

There are three sorts of messaging:

1. In-game messaging sent along with a move.
2. Email your opponent: This send an email from this site to whatever email addres they signed up with. It also gives your email address along with the message.
3. The new in-site messaging service reached via My Home
