Iphone - won't let me stay logged in

Starting this week, when i change apps, i get logged off rhp. I've re-enableding cookies in safari but it hasn't helped.

This issue comes up occasionally - and "private browsing" has been to blame every time.

Apple Support for Private Browsing

If all of your cookies are deleted at the of a session (private mode is on), you will be logged out as described.

I thought that was a new security feature to help numpties like me who forget to log out!
