I've got a problem with RHP and Java I believe. I have Firefox 2.0.0.6 and can't use many of the features that worked a week or 2 back.

I believe it's a Java problem because I can't do in game messages, use the analysis board, the new drop down PM and Games tabs... and a few other features I forget about.

Here is my java info if it helps:

Java Plug-in 1.6.0_02
Using JRE version 1.6.0_02 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
User home directory = C:\Documents and Settings\Travis

----------------------------------------------------
c: clear console window
f: finalize objects on finalization queue
g: garbage collect
h: display this help message
l: dump classloader list
m: print memory usage
o: trigger logging
p: reload proxy configuration
q: hide console
r: reload policy configuration
s: dump system and deployment properties
t: dump thread list
v: dump thread stack
x: clear classloader cache
0-5: set trace level to
----------------------------------------------------

Any advice?

Does it all work ok with Internet Explorer?
If it does, maybe it's an updated extension causing it somehow. You could do a quick test by running firefox in it's safe mode [to disable all the extensions] and see if they work then.

You are wrong. RHP uses javascript not Java. If you have Firefox privacy/security addons, try starting with a clean profile and add them again (save your bookmarks though).

I'm not sure if I have privacy/security... I know nothing about a 'profile'

I pretty much have greasemonkey, RHP scripts... colorful tabs... a calculator... couple games...

What are these addons you are thinking of? How would I find if I use them?

I have zone alarm, so I didn't think my firefox needed anything like that.

Keep me posted.

in C:\Documents and Settings\z00t\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xyz backup xyz to xyz.bak and then start firefox with a clean profile i.e it will put something instead of the xyz say abc. Instead of doing that you can start FF in safe mode to see if its the addons/extensions that are causing a problem.

I did start it in safe mode already... and the lost features work fine, but my RHP scripts are gone.

Now what!?

If the analysis boards etc on RHP work minus your RHP scripts/addons then it proves your RHP scripts/addons may need updating or have issues. Sometimes using profiles over and over from FF 1.5 updating to 2.0 updating to the next causes issues, and you may need a clean profile and then add the addons to the new profile.

You could've disabled the add-ons one at a time to find which one was causing a problem, if it was that.
