    I see. I thought it was the complete BBCode set of tags, where you can use:

    [url]{url}[/url] or [url={url}]{text}[/url]

    I frequently mess up when using this link, but the only version that I've ever been able to make work properly is this one (with square brackets of course):
    {url=full_url_address_.com}TEXT_HERE{/url}
    which is the second of your two options, I believe.
