Lost account

I have another account set up and have forgot the password, the email address I used is not receiving the email when trying to reset password. the email address is form a website I just to run which is no longer going and I don''t have the hosting package anymore. I can still receive emails to the address as I still own the domain but the sender receives a not delivered email, will this stop me reactivating account?
