MAPs of the month

Is it normal that every month everybody starts with 0 ?

Is it normal that after a month is over, that every player for MAPs of the month will be put back to zero (0) ?

I think Russ or Chris have to reset the 'moves this month' counter. It doesn't appear to be automatic.

I was just wondering about this myself.
It usually seems to be done on the 2nd or 3rd of the months, I'm not sure exactly when.
