Message Notification?

Is there any notification or flag when you have been "messaged" during a game, or do you have to check the "Message Log" every time?

In game, any message your opponent sends will show up in the area above the board and be there until you move. Pretty easy to spot, so no other notification that I know of.

Thanx! No one has ever messaged me back (sigh), so I didn't know how a "message" manifested.
