I've found this on the net;

but when I save and use it here it's not moving. Do I need to save it a certian way?

Animated avatars must be exactly 50x50. That one is 66X69

edit: therefore try resizing it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Go to this link for a detailed explanation.

I think the bottom line is that you must resize it using software that is specifically designed to resize an animated gif file, as there are several pages included to present the animation, and each individual page must be resized.

If you do a google search for "resizing an animated gif file" you should come of with what you need.

Hope this helps....

Thank you Mwmiller. It loks like something I can't do without really putting some effort into it! I'm too lazy-

This site should work and it's free.
All you have to do is upload your animated gif, resize it, save the new one back to your computer, and you're done.

Here's your animated avatar, Yo.

Just right-click on it and save it to your computer. Then you can upload it as your forum avatar.

I'll leave it up for a while before going back to my normal one.

Can't make it any easier than that.

Marc

You're welcome!

I couldn't figure out how to slow it down a little, but there probably is a way

Depending on what program you're using to make the GIF, there should be an option to set how many milliseconds each frame is displayed for.
