My silly cd player won't work...

the symptons are that:

when i try to access it the message is:
"E:/is not accessible.
The device is not ready".

i can use my mouse to click on the eject option from "my computer" to successfully eject the cd.

maybe you have a software problem ... maybe a hardware problem ... i am sure someone here will be able to determine which - good luck 😉
