I am new to this website. How do I challenge a player to a game with longer time controls?

Welcome to RHP

Whether you want to challenge a player or put up an open invite (ie anyone can accept within your criteria), the settings for timeouts and timebanks are the same.

In either case you can adjust both the timeout and timebank settings; they are clearly shown when you either challenge an opponent or set up an open invite.

The time out and time bank terms are explained in the help section but if you need a little more help I will try and assist.

Certainly

There are two ways

Up towards the right (in a black banner) you will see a tab named tables, that will give you the order of the rated players in order.

If you wish to see players within a rating range you can go to "players' - also in the same black banner - you can then key in a minimum rating of the players you wish to see / challenge.
