I posted 4 invites earlier which got accepted quickly but then found that the players went offline.

This site serves correspondence chess. A style of chess that traditionally used either carrier pigeon or messenger badger to convey moves to an opponent. A process that usually took some time.
This site is here to take the inconvenience out of maintaining a messenger pet and to also facilitate a friendly and supportive environment in which to play games.
Whilst it is possible on the modern interweb to take part in fast and 'live' games, this site prefers the adherence to the old ways - albeit in a modernistic web-based setting.
If you do want quick games - i.e. lasting less than a month - then try this sites blitz mini-site (link top right - between sieges and clubs).
