Because I am a lame brain twice I have posted with
either an error in the title or 'no title at all'.

Is there any way one can Edit the Title?

What happens if someone, by mistake, puts a rude word
    in the title.

EG. suppose they want to post this in the title.

I have a new chess shirt

    But miss out the 'r'.

    Thank You.

No, for the moment, you can't edit the title.

I hope there will be a change of this. I would like to edit the title too.

People, myself included, have been asking for this for over 2 years - don't hold ya breath!
Robomod [or maybe even a human mod, if asked] will change or alter the title in the case of curse words.

    Maybe. 😕

Mods can not edit text, though you could make a redundant thread with the proper title and alert the wrong thread to have it removed.

Just be sure to note in the thread you've asked for the thread to be removed, so no one is surprised when it vanishes. A link to the new thread wouldn't hurt either.

I, too, have suggested the possibility of edit the title. I'm frustrated when I mess up the spelling in the thread title and can't correct it.

Once I was writing a posting in the Thread 94894. I wanted to comment of the thread title, so I pasted the title into my posting and - bam - I got a sour remark from the robomod telling me that I shouldn't use foul words in my posting. (?) But in the title it is apparantly okay.

Unacceptable words should either be posted prominently or not at all. 😉

I would like to have a list of what words we are supposed not to use...

In the forum of the Swedish Clan, we can use any words - in Swedish. Even the foulest ones.
