How do I get a normal font in a message like this?

This is written with italics on

This is written with bold on

This is written with bold and italics

And this is written with nothing on.

As you can see, the text with nothing on is the same as the italic text, i.e normal text = italics, is there any way to get a non-bold & non-italic font?

It doesn't look the same to me. Italics looks italic and normal just looks normal. Wonder if its browser related? I'm using Firefox 1.0.1.

Edit: Of course the quoted text is all in bold.

It sounds like a browser / font issue, as it appears just fine here (IE 6 as it happens). Have you overriden the browser's font selection? Or removed any fonts from your system recently?
