People have a habit of putting out challenges that most players can't except due to high / low rating limits.
Just checked and there are two now from bona-fide players, but both rated appx 1600.
Keep looking, or create your own invite (or subscribe and join some tournaments and a clan or two!!!)

Why when I press for open invites it doesnt come up with "accept offer"
At the moment there appears to be about 15 invites but no-one appears to be challenged?
WHY?
Open invite:
flux catheter own rating: 1181, challenger rating limits: (2000 - 2500)
Game name: please beat the snot out of my pieces. thank you.
I think that says it all... Why any person with a >2000 rating would want to play an 1181, even for fun, is beyond me... The only way the lesser player will learn from the experience is if the strong player is willing to be his tutor. And I can't see what the strong player will get out of it... Well, maybe if he's a real sadist...
Personally I believe one shouldn't challenge more than 300 above your rating if you want to learn and improve... Anything more than that is (normally) slaughter...
