Does anybody know how the pont rating goes when you win or loose a match?

Is there some kind of schedule for and where can i find it?
for example, when you beat a player wich has a 100 points more how many you get for a win and how many he gets when he win's (and by loss)
And when you have (allmost) thesame ranking, what then happens with the points?

    thx,
    MarsXL

Perhaps someone will also post the helpful list that should be added to the FAQ... someone charted rating changes based on rating vs. vs.

This is probably going to look awful in the message, but here's a rough table for the most reasonable differences. Beyond this, there's not much point for the higher-ranked player to take on the game - you're not going to lose anyway, won't gain more than a single point if you win, and if you do happen to fall ill and lose on timeout, you lose 32 whole points.
The numbers are different when you get to a rating above 2100, but if you're that good, you don't need the table, or for that matter care. Mind you, IMAO you shouldn't care even when you're lower ranked, beyond knowing the general principle: get more points (or lose fewer) for fighting a better opponent (and v.v.), a draw is worth half the sum of a win and a loss, and the further away from your own rating you go, the less the difference matters (i.e., for a 1400 player, the difference between a 1440 and a 1480 is greater than between a 2040 and a 2080).

    Diff Win Draw Loss
    -500 1,70 -14,30 -30,30
    -400 2,91 -13,09 -29,09
    -300 4,83 -11,17 -27,17
    -200 7,69 -8,31 -24,31
    -100 11,52 -4,48 -20,48
    000 16,00 0,00 -16,00
    100 20,48 4,48 -11,52
    200 24,31 8,31 -7,69
    300 27,17 11,17 -4,83
    400 29,09 13,09 -2,91
    500 30,30 14,30 -1,70

That's the one from the thread link I provided. Why it is not in the FAQ is a mystery.
