positioning problem with large threads?

When I click the date for the Sticky thread game I end up on page 1014 instead of page 1018 (this is reproducable)

My System Windows and Edge (newest versions)

The recent tinkering with the forums has produced these "drifting" pages. Once a new post is added to a thread, it will be fixed from now on.

Here new Posts have happend (as opposed to the other threads I mentioned)
