Hi--Can anyone tell me why my rating dropped after winning a game now? I've played over 30. ??
Any help would be appreciated.

Just from looking at your rating graph all the drops are due to you being defeated. And vice versa for the rises. Seems perfectly normal here.

I went from 981 to 962 after winning the game. Any other ideas from anyone? Just curious.

But your game against bishopbilly where you had 962 before and won 6 points and have 968 after.
I think you mean the game before against grgbrss where you had 681 before and lost 19 points and have 962 after, right?

I don't see any problems with your rating wins and losses.

Hi-- Maybe I'm reading the graphs wrong. I just know that I was playing 2 games and won one and went back to the other to continue playing and saw that my rating (next to my name) had dropped and I was confused. It's not a big deal tho. I'm just trying to learn how to play and was hoping to get out of the triple digits and was close. Oh well!
Thanks a bunch!

correct you are reading it wrong. on the graph, the highest point on each peak is a loss. it feels natural to look at the next game in the list as being the lost game but it can just as likely be a win. this is where you are being confused.
