Recommended Games

I would like to be able to recommend games exactly like I can recommend forum posts.

There are some great games going on out there - but finding them is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Got my rec, too. Just to make it more interesting for Russ or Chrismo to implement, how about weighting game recs by one or more of:
1) Recommender's rating / 500 (or some other factor)
2) Number of recommender's own games rec'd
3) Number of other recommended games that were first found by recommender and that have multiple rec's

I recommend that everyone who likes flexmore's idea recommend flexmore's post at the beginning of this thread. With 4 more recommends, it will be the most recommended thread with 12.

So show your support and recommend recommending games. 😀

2 implementations of this might be:
recommending game positions in the analyse board screen. We could then scroll forward to see how the exciting position progressed to a less exciting outcome, or backward to see where the hell it came from.
... or ....
simply recommending the whole game.

i think that the first option would more clearly define the recommended element.
i also think players should be able to recommend their own games/positions.
