I think there was another thread about this issue?
If I remember correctly, Russ said that they (the 'admins'😉 thought the feature would have to be removed following a change on the site.
However, it turned out this was not the case and that the feature would be re-introduced.
I imagine this is somewhere on a long list 🙂
Cheers
There was indeed such a thread: I remember 'cos I wrote it.
And if I didn't know it was me who started the thread , and roughly when, I'd never have been able to find it using the current search function:

But more to the point: I got a recommended from somebody! Cheers whoever you are!
I think google has indexed this whole site, so It should be possible to search all of the forum posts, I think. I just did it once and it worked 😀
Try this in the search form at google:
site:www.redhotpawn.com your keyword
or use this URL
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=+site:www.redhotpawn.com+your keyword
Originally posted by Prieure de SionIf true Russ, why not consider using Google's seach bar on the search page rather than (or alongside) your own custom one?

Try this in the search form at google:
site:www.redhotpawn.com your keyword ...[text shortened]... l=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=+site:www.redhotpawn.com+your keyword
As this site is "small and public" (to Google corperate minds anyway) it is free: and the google bar can be set to search this site only: thus effectively a forums search without doing it the RHP server
