Do a mouse-hover over either the thread title or the "last post" link on the Thread List page.

The Url of this page is "http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?subject=Thread_ID_number&threadid=144155" (or redhotpawn or any of the other sites)

The end of the url says "threadid=144155"

When I do the mouse trick Kewpie gave these numbers show up bottom left in my Google Chrome web browser... they show up in my url box when I visit the thread.

Thanks. How do you do a mouse hover with iPad?

You're the Ipad user, you figure it out.

I asked for knowledge not fatuous comments.

It wasn't meant to be a fatuous comment, sorry if you took it that way. It was meant to indicate that people without iPads would have less information than you would have access to, yourself. Don't the instructions include the use of mouse equivalents?

No prob. Thanks for your help. There is no iPad equivalent of mouse hover. Can't figure a way past this. I think I'll start another thread for help.

Does the Ipad browser not show the URL of the site it's viewing, then?

(Stupid question, really. It's a Mac product. "You do not need that information, citizen."😉
