To Resign

How comes when I resigned in a game, the other player carried on moving?
Happened to me twice now, had to make more moves to finish the game.

Can your opponent refuse to accept it? I'm referring to games played here, not face to face games where we all know resigning is resigning.

You sure you confirmed your resignation? Can you give a game link and when you think you resigned?

And there was another one as well. Game 1507516

Procedure to resign:

1. Click the resign link.
2. Check the box which should appear.
3. Click the move box, no move need be made on the board.
4. Select yes when asked to confirm your resignation.

This is from memory as I have no games I wish to resign at this time.
