Would you ever consider a tournament that had predictable pairings rather than random for a 64 person tournament grouped by in fours ?
Group 1: seeds 1, 17, 33, 49
Group 2: seeds 2. 18. 34. 50
Group 3: seeds 3, 19, 35, 51
etc. for the first round
For the second round even if there were more than 16 people as a result of group ties in the first round, they could be grouped in the same manner:
Group 1: remaining seeds 1, 5, 9, 13
Group 2: remaining seeds 2, 6, 10, 14
etc. then, if necessary, seed 17 would go into group 1, 18 into group 2, etc.
I love the site and I will continue to play in every grouped random that I can I was just curious if this had been considered or done in the past and if there was any interest in doing something like this now.

Only problem is that seedings don't change with each round. I was in one seeded around 30. By time I had won first game my rating had improved 100 or so points making me (around) 15th of the 32 left but I was still seeded 30.
Original seeding tournaments need the seedings re-done after each round based on who is left methinks.
