Maybe I am not giving humanity enough credit, but I can fathom a circumstance when a person will
abuse vacation mode in order to avoid moving/losing. Is there a limit to the amount of time a
person can use vacation mode? Does it remain on even if a person makes a move; that is, can a
person not move for four weeks in one game but be active in another and still have vacation mode
activated?
Should people returning from vacation mode be forced to play their games in a certain order?
(e.g., all the people who would have timed the vacationer out should go first.)
Just some thoughts (and not an implied reflection of the people whom I am playing)

When set to 'on vacation' you can't move - but you can toggle it
during your session if you wanted to abuse the system.
It does rely on trust - if someone is set to 'on vacation' for over 4
weeks, then you probably have a pretty good reason to TO them.
The point of vacation mode is to avoid people having to use the
forums to notify the entire world they are on holiday - now it just
takes one click.
I advise all to use it over Xmas if they are away from their PC.

BTW This feature will probably be expanded in the future, but I
guessed something was better than nothing.
