    Maybe an nice idea:

If a player has his vacation sign up, it should turned off the first time the player makes a move.
This way you don't have to turn it off again when you are back (just play your next move), and some players that use it so others would not claim a win easy have to do more work to keep ...

So less work for honest player, more work for others.

How about this for an idea?

When you set your vacation a box will prompt you to enter the date you intend to return to RHP and resume play. At that point the system could calculate the number of games you could potentially be timed out on while you're away. This may just help people come to terms with how the time bank works and prepare people for the worst, should it happen.
