What is 'Total Rec'?

What is that 'Total Recs: 0' thing in my profile?

This is the number of times someone 'recommended' your post. A post with many recs is probably worthy of a read.

You can read all recent high rated posts from the 'forums' menu -> 'recommended posts'

As for who "recommends", look at the bottom of each post - you see Reply, Reply & Quote, Alert Moderator, and Recommend. Meaning, anyone can recommend.

Yes, these are all subscriber only options. Not that it is documented anywhere, so no great surprise no one knows for sure.
