where do messages go?

After they are read?
I can't find them, do they go away? Is there any way to save them?

Um, they should still be in your inbox. Try pulling down "My Home' and selecting "My Inbox", they should be there. They do get autodeleted, but I think it takes about 30 days for that.

If the recipient of your message deletes it, then it will no longer show in your sent items.

Use the 'Email backup' option when deleting to get a copy of your messages.
