The game isn't all that entertaining. It's the plan starting with white's 31st (or 30th) move that makes it so memorable.
The continuation is 34. ... Kh7 35. Rxf7+ Rxf7 36. Qxf7+ Kh8 37. Kh6 OR 35. Qxg6+ Kh8 36. Qh6+ Kg8 37. Kf6.
Short's king march in the game reminds of one of the Rambo movies, Rambo First Blood Part 2. Rambo is a prisoner, and they call back to his superiors (who have betrayed him) to come get him. " Rambo tell us your position, and we'll come in and get you." And there ,surrounded by the enemy and in chains, he says " Murdoch, I'm coming to get you." He then proceeds to take on the enemy in chains and put a real beating on them. To me that's what Short's king is saying in this game. 🙂 He's a real tough hombre. 🙂
