You lost this game. Did you post the wrong game?

    πŸ™‚ brilliant.

Think I have just found 'Post of the Week'.

Maybe it was posted by Ed Bernheim using Sonhouse's login.

Perhaps 33.a5 would give white queening chances.

They did play another game that sonhouse won, so he could have just grabbed the wrong game. I just wanted to flag it so that he wouldn't get a lot of comments only to discover the mistake later.

...Or maybe he's testing us to see if we're asleep at the wheel. πŸ™‚

    9.Qd3 drops a pawn after 9.... Nxe4 10.Bxe7 Nxf2!

    your opponent missed it
    the simple 9.Bd3 is ok

14.Qe3 nothing wrong with it but I like 14.Qe5 better.Invite him to play f6 weakening his king position.
He probably won't do it but then your queen remains in a dominant position.Win-win situation for you.

    15.f3 good but did you examine the idea 15.Kb1 Bxg2?! 16.Rhg1 Bd5 17.Qg3 Qf6 18.Nf4 with an attack

It may not be enough but it's worth examining

24.Qg5 keeps the pawn but losing it doesn't seem such a disaster either

    30.Qb8+!? I would make a draw here with 30.Qd6+ Kf7 31.Qd7+ Kf8 32.Qd6+ etc.

37.Kb1?? well, you know why that was bad

seems to me that, as a general principle, if you're going to castle opposite sides, you've got to get that kingside attack going quicker. you tried to start (with h4) but then were hampered by the strong bishop on b7 and also distracted by what was going on with the d pawn. i realise this is a generalisation and i can't back it up with specific moves you might have played...but then toet has already suggested one way of getting a kingside attack going

Yeah, thanks for that advice. It's easy to get distracted by opponent moves for sure.
