Years ago I read about this game and replayed it from the notes, but don't remember which book I read it in, or who the players were, although I want to say Morphy, but am not even sure on that.
Anyway, it was the best king walk I have ever seen, and I think i read that it was the most famous of all time. And if I recall, the opening was either a Three Knights or a Four Knights opening. And I believe it was played sometime in the 1800s.
Anybody here up on your chess history, and could tell me who played the game, and even better, give the moves? If you could, I would be really grateful, as I have wanted to see this game for a long time.

The one i remember that sticks in my mind after all these years, involved the king being luiterally forced to walk the lenght of the board, (like a dog being led with a chain around his neck!), where he was promptly execuited. It was a thing of rare beauty. And I am almost positive it was a three or more likely a four knights opening. It just eludes me who played it. I believe I read the game in the public library, about ten or more years ago.
