Greetings players and fellow patzers

The FEN below (assuming it works, let us hope) is the checkmate position from a game I have already included in another thread, along with my annotations
see here http://www.redhotpawn.com/board/showthread.php?subject=Share_an_interesting_game_you_played&threadid=150083

What I really wanted was to just show how white's King and Queen have swapped squares,
and ask you guys whether it has happened in any of your games, and how often it has been seen?
Is it a rare occurrence, or not so?

It's quite rare. Once you tried to get mated a alot of times in the centre (or lost material because of mate threat), you'll learn that castling really helps. I have not seen the game, but I guess white saw that he could win a pawn if he didn't castle, and therefor ended up being mated in the centre.

I have learned theory until castle (and in some openings, more), so I am sure I don't get mated there.

He definitely should have castled when had the chance, which would have prevented the event from happening.

Glad he didn't though, I enjoyed it 🙂

Maybe you'll enjoy this thread. TY chex was a remarkable player. Often thought to not be genuine. I heard that he met with some people from this site and removed all doubt. (Not sure what the deal was, but I do know his real name and grade)

The transvestite attack... I love it!

I'm gonna start a game against a 1200 player and give it a bash lol

We had a go...
Made for quite a weird game 🙂

After 18... c6 I was going to play Ke2, with the idea of:

19... dx5 20. dx5 Bxd5 21. Qxd5 Qxd5 22. hRd1

which my blurry head calculated would have equalised the position... if not for the interfering move Bd4, which I had missed, and for the fact that I would've ended up a piece down anyway (doh!)

so I played 19. Kc2 instead, which by this time the game was doomed!

The only thing the game proved was that morgski makes for a better transvestite than I do! 😀 😛
